Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治內損心肺, 吐血, 下血, 其出如涌泉, 口鼻皆流. 須臾不救則死, 服此卽安. 側柏葉(蒸乾) 二兩半, 荊芥穗(燒灰)ㆍ人參各一兩. 右爲末, 每三錢, 入白麪二錢, 新汲水調, 如稀糊, 啜服. 《經驗》

Translation

Treats injury of the heart and lung within, with vomiting and passing of blood issuing like a welling spring and flowing from mouth and nose together — death in a moment if not rescued; taking this, she is at once settled. Arborvitae leaf, steamed and dried, 2 nyang 5 don; schizonepeta spike burnt to ash, and ginseng, 1 nyang each. Powder them; take 3 don at a time with 2 don of wheat flour put in, stirred into fresh water to a thin paste, and sip it. — Gyeongheom 經驗 (Donguibogam · Hyeol)

其出如涌泉 — issuing like a welling spring. Massive bleeding from mouth and nose at once, and the chapter's answer is arborvitae leaf, the tradition's strongest plant stancher, with a charred medicinal beside it and flour to thicken the whole into a paste that coats. The flour is the working detail.
