Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治婦人因産傷脬, 小便不禁, 或漏濕不乾, 或小便不利. 黃絲絹(生者) 一尺剪碎, 白牡丹根皮末二錢<span class='sochu'>千葉者, 他無效</span>, 白芨末一錢. 右水一椀, 同煎至絹爛如糖, 空心頓服. 服時不得作聲, 作聲無效. 《得效》

Translation

Treats a woman whose bladder was injured in childbirth, with urine not held, or a constant wet leaking that never dries, or urine that will not pass. Raw yellow silk one cheok, cut small; white tree-peony root bark, powdered, 2 don <span class='sochu'>the thousand-petalled kind; others have no effect</span>; bletilla, powdered, 1 don. Boil in a wan of water until the silk has melted like sugar, and take it all at once on an empty stomach. While taking it one must make no sound; if one makes a sound it has no effect. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Sobyeon)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Obstetric fistula — the bladder torn in a long labour, leaving a woman constantly wet.
