Saposhnikovia and Angelica Drink
Bangpungdanggwieum-ja
한글 방풍당귀음자 · Pinyin Fang Feng Dang Gui Yin Zi
The Dansim appends a full herb-by-herb rationale: rhubarb drains the Yang-brightness damp heat out through the stool; talcum downs the triple burner's reckless fire out through the urine; scutellaria cools the diaphragm; saposhnikovia clears head and eyes; ginseng and licorice supplement the Qi; angelica and peony supplement the Blood — with not half a flavor of acrid, fragrant, drying-hot mistaken medicine among them.
