Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治積熱上衝, 頭痛如火. 羌活ㆍ防風ㆍ當歸ㆍ大黃ㆍ川芎ㆍ梔子ㆍ薄荷 各一錢, 蟬殼ㆍ甘草 各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入燈心 二十莖, 苦竹葉 十片, 水煎服. 《得效》

Translation

Treats accumulated heat surging up with a headache like fire. Notopterygium, saposhnikovia, angelica, rhubarb, chuanxiong, gardenia and mint 1 don each; cicada slough and licorice 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, add 20 stalks of juncus and 10 bitter bamboo leaves, decoct in water and take. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Du)
