Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治産後譫言妄語, 皆心血虧欠, 心神不守所致. 柏子仁ㆍ遠志ㆍ人參ㆍ桑寄生ㆍ防風ㆍ琥珀ㆍ當歸ㆍ熟地黃ㆍ甘草各等分. 右剉, 每五錢, 先以白羊心一枚煮汁取二盞, 乃入藥煎至一盞, 去渣溫服. 《正傳》

Translation

Treats delirium and wild speech after delivery, all brought about by the heart blood being depleted and the heart spirit not keeping its guard. Arborvitae seed, polygala, ginseng, mulberry mistletoe, saposhnikovia, amber, angelica, cooked rehmannia and licorice in equal parts. Cut up and take 5 don at a time; first boil one sheep's heart for 2 cups of liquor, then put in the medicines and reduce to 1 cup, strain off the dregs and take warm. — Jeongjeon 正傳 (Donguibogam · Buin)
