Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
蜂房 一箇, 每一孔內納胡椒ㆍ川椒 各一粒, 用椀盛之, 入水令滿, 加黃栢如指大三片於內, 以盞盖住, 用紙封固, 重湯煮一炷香盡, 取出澄溫, 夜漱良久吐之. 《醫鑑》
Translation
One hornet's nest; put one grain each of pepper and Sichuan pepper into every cell, set it in a bowl, fill with water, add three finger-sized slices of phellodendron, cover with a cup and seal with paper; steam it in a double boiler for the burning of one stick of incense, take it out, let it settle and cool to warm, and at night rinse with it a good while and spit it out.
