Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治鼻齄. 生硫黃 五錢, 杏仁 二錢半, 輕粉 一錢. 右爲末, 酒調, 臨臥塗之, 明早洗去. 《回春》
Translation
Treats wine-nose. Raw sulphur 5 don; apricot kernel 2 don 5 pun; calomel 1 don. Powder them, mix with wine, apply at bedtime and wash off next morning. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Bi)
Clinical commentary 臨床
Sulphur applied overnight and washed off in the morning. Topical sulphur is still a standard treatment for rosacea and for the mites associated with it, and this is the same preparation and the same schedule.
