久瘧, 欲吐不吐, 宜吐之. 藜蘆末五分, 溫虀水調下, 以吐爲度. 《綱目》

Translation

In long-standing malaria, where there is a wish to vomit and no vomiting, ejecting is appropriate. Powdered black false hellebore root 5 pun, taken stirred into warm pickle water, vomiting being the measure. — Uihak Gangmok 綱目 (Donguibogam · To)

欲吐不吐 — a wish to vomit and no vomiting — is the indication, and the chapter treats the unresolved urge as itself a reason to complete it.
