Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治丈夫精冷, 眞精其不濃, 不兆施, 是以無子. 陽起石(火煆硏)ㆍ兎絲子(酒浸製)ㆍ鹿茸(酒蒸焙)ㆍ天雄(炮)ㆍ韭子(炒)ㆍ肉蓯蓉(酒浸) 各一兩, 覆盆子(酒浸)ㆍ石斛ㆍ桑寄生ㆍ沈香ㆍ原蚕蛾(酒灸)ㆍ五味子 各五錢. 右爲末, 酒煮糯米糊和丸梧子大, 空心, 鹽湯下七九十丸. 《得效》
Translation
Treats a husband's essence run cold, the true essence not rich and not delivered — hence childlessness. Actinolite (calcined in fire and ground), cuscuta (wine-soaked and prepared), deer antler (wine-steamed and baked), blast-fried tianxiong aconite, dry-fried chive seed, and wine-soaked cistanche, 1 nyang each; wine-soaked rubus, dendrobium, mulberry mistletoe, aquilaria, wine-roasted male silkmoth, and schisandra, 5 don each.
