Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治鬼瘧. 大黑豆 四十九粒(約五錢重), 端午日以冷水浸, 從早至巳時, 去皮曬乾, 硏. 入信砒末 一錢, 再硏勻, 麪糊和勻作丸, 少壯人梧子大, 老人黃豆大, 小兒菉豆大, 雄黃ㆍ朱砂爲衣, 曬乾收貯. 臨發五更, 面東井水下一丸. 《入門》 ○一名瘧靈丹. 《醫鑑》
Translation
Treats demon malaria. Large black soybeans, 49 grains weighing about 5 don: on the Dano day steep them in cold water from dawn to the hour of sa, remove the skins, sun-dry and grind. Add 1 don of powdered arsenic, grind again until even, and bind with a wheat-flour paste into pills — the size of parasol-tree seeds for the young and vigorous, the size of a yellow soybean for the old, the size of a mung bean for children. Coat them with realgar and cinnabar, sun-dry and store. As the paroxysm approaches, at the fifth watch, swallow one pill with well water facing east. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Haehak).
