Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治同上. 澤蘭葉 二錢, 當歸ㆍ白芍藥(炒)ㆍ甘草 各一錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《良方》
Translation
Treats the same as the above. Lycopus leaf 2 don; Korean angelica, dry-fried white peony, and licorice, 1 don each. Cut the above, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Yangbang 良方 (Donguibogam · Po)
Clinical commentary 臨床
The gentlest of the pain formulas — lycopus, the tradition's mildest blood-mover for women, over the peony-and-licorice pair that softens a cramp anywhere in the body. Where Oyak-tang treats constraint and Cheongyeoljohyeol-tang treats heat with stasis, this treats a cramp that is simply a cramp.
