Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治痰飮流注, 臂痛不能擧, 時復轉移, 脉沈細. 半夏 二兩, 赤茯苓 一兩, 枳殼 五錢, 朴硝 二錢半. 右爲末, 薑汁糊和丸梧子大, 薑湯下三五十丸. 無朴硝, 則以焰硝代之. 《入門》 ○有人爲痰飮所苦, 兩手戰掉, 痛不能擧, 服此卽愈. 《得效》
Translation
Treats phlegm-rheum pouring and flowing, arm pain with inability to raise the arm, shifting from time to time, with a sunken and fine pulse. Pinellia 2 nyang, red poria 1 nyang, bitter orange 5 don, crude mirabilite 2.5 don. Powder the above, form into pills the size of firmiana seeds with ginger juice paste, and take 30 to 50 pills down with ginger decoction. If crude mirabilite is unavailable, substitute saltpetre. — Immun 入門. There was a man tormented by phlegm-rheum whose two hands shook and trembled, with pain and inability to raise them; on taking this he was cured. — Deukhyo 得效
