Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治一切心脾疼, 遇冷便作, 引入背膂痛不可忍, 服之絶根. 木香ㆍ靑皮ㆍ陳皮ㆍ麥芽ㆍ枳殼ㆍ三稜ㆍ蓬朮ㆍ神麴ㆍ白芍藥ㆍ白芷ㆍ肉桂ㆍ玄胡索ㆍ破故紙ㆍ甘草各七分, 蓽澄茄ㆍ丁香各三分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑五片, 棗二枚, 水煎服. 《得效》

Translation

Treats every pain of heart and spleen that comes on as soon as cold is met and draws into the back and spine unbearably; taken, it cuts the root. Costus, green tangerine peel, tangerine peel, barley sprout, bitter orange, sparganium, zedoary, medicated leaven, white peony, angelica dahurica, cinnamon, corydalis, psoralea and licorice 7 pun each; cubeb and clove 3 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, add 5 slices of ginger and 2 jujubes, decoct in water and take. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Hyung)

Clinical commentary 臨床

引入背膂痛不可忍 — drawing into the back and spine unbearably.
