Clinical commentary 臨床

The chapter's great counterintuition, and Dongyuan's proof of it — when fire has sunk into the Earth of the spleen and burns there, cooling it further only packs the coals down. 'When fire is constrained, effuse it': the lifters and wind herbs open a chimney instead. The formula that explains why some burning hands get worse on cold medicine. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
