Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

細辛一錢半, 蔓荊子ㆍ鼠粘子各一錢, 升麻ㆍ黃連ㆍ防己各七分, 黃栢ㆍ知母(幷酒炒) 各五分, 薄荷三分, 蓽撥一分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《醫鑑》

Translation

Asarum 1 don 5 pun; vitex fruit and burdock seed 1 don each; cimicifuga, coptis and stephania 7 pun each; phellodendron and anemarrhena (both wine-fried) 5 pun each; mint 3 pun; long pepper 1 pun. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Gogeum Uigam 醫鑑 (Donguibogam · Ahchi)

Clinical commentary 臨床

4.3.5 assigns the upper teeth to the kidney channel's vacuity heat and the lower to the hand yang brightness, and gives a formula for each — this and Baekji-tang.
