Clinical commentary 臨床

Eight nyang of raw sparganium reduced in vinegar to a paste, which then binds the rest — so the chief medicinal is both the largest ingredient and the vehicle. Sal ammoniac is the sharpest element and the one the tradition credits with dissolving flesh; the section at 1.8.15 lists it first among the medicinals for meat accumulation. **Contains sal ammoniac, a corrosive ammonium salt, and dried lacquer. Not suitable for self-administration.** — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
