Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治濁氣在上, 生䐜脹, 又陰盛生寒, 腹滿䐜脹, 常如飽不欲食飮. 吳茱萸ㆍ厚朴ㆍ官桂ㆍ乾薑各一錢, 白朮ㆍ陳皮ㆍ川椒(炒) 各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 或爲末, 每二錢, 薑湯點服. 《類聚》

Translation

Treats turbid qi above producing distension; also yin exuberant engendering cold, with abdominal fullness and distension and a constant sense of fullness so that there is no wish to eat or drink. Evodia, magnolia bark, cinnamon bark and dry ginger 1 don each; white atractylodes, tangerine peel and zanthoxylum (stir-fried) 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. Or powder it and take 2 don at a time sprinkled into ginger decoction. — Yuchwi 類聚 (Donguibogam · Changman)

Clinical commentary 臨床

常如飽不欲食飮 — a constant sense of fullness with no wish to eat — is early satiety, and it is the sign that distinguishes this from distension that comes on after eating.
