Translation
Stops spontaneous sweating. White atractylodes, ligusticum, chuanxiong and angelica dahurica in equal parts. Powder them; to each nyang of the powder add a nyang of millet flour and mix evenly, wrap in silk floss, and pat it over the body. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Jinaek)
Clinical commentary 臨床
A dusting powder — four aromatic medicinals cut with millet flour and patted on through a bag of floss. Talc for a sweating patient, 5.15's external method, and it is what the tradition used where a drug by mouth would have done too much. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
