Translation

Treats mounting disease new or long-standing, and answers for both the four-qi and the seven-affect mountings. Lindera, cyperus, Korean angelica, white peony, hawthorn flesh and tangerine peel 1 don each; white atractylodes 7 pun; red poria and alisma 5 pun each; polyporus, saussurea and licorice 3 pun each. Cut up as one packet, decoct in water, and take on an empty stomach. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Jeoneum)

Clinical commentary 臨床

A decoction rather than a pill, and the only general treatment here mild enough to give for a long while. Oryeong-san sits in the lower half of it, which is the chapter's own argument for why the four-qi and seven-affect mountings are treated alike — damp drained below while lindera and cyperus free the qi above. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
