Translation

White poria 2 don; ophiopogon and scutellaria, 1.5 don each; saposhnikovia 1 don. Cut the above, make one packet, add seven green bamboo leaves, decoct in water and take, twice daily. — Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Buin)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Child vexation gets the gentlest cooling in the chapter — poria leading, ophiopogon replacing what the heat spends, and seven bamboo leaves floating on top. The indication names its own season: the fourth and fifth months, when the minister fire is at work, or any pregnancy meeting a hot summer. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
