Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治心虛煩悶. 麥門冬ㆍ小麥各二錢, 半夏一錢半, 人參ㆍ白茯苓各一錢, 甘草五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑五片, 棗二枚, 靑竹茹一塊, 煎服. 《三因》

Translation

Treats Heart vacuity with vexing oppression. Ophiopogon and wheat, 2 don each; pinellia 1.5 don; ginseng and white poria, 1 don each; licorice 0.5 don. Cut the above, make one packet, add 5 slices of ginger, 2 jujubes, and one lump of green bamboo shavings, decoct and take. — Samin 三因 (Donguibogam · Hwa)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The heart-flavored entry of the shelf — wheat, the grain the classics feed to a grieving heart, at chief's rank beside ophiopogon, with a lump of bamboo shavings cooling the flutter above.
