Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

一名溫經湯. 治月候不調. 麥門冬 二錢, 當歸 一錢半, 人參ㆍ半夏(製)ㆍ白芍藥ㆍ川芎ㆍ牡丹皮 各一錢, 阿膠珠ㆍ甘草(灸) 各七分半, 吳茱萸ㆍ肉桂 各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 薑三片, 水煎服. 《入門》

Translation

Also called Ongyeong-tang. Treats a cycle that is not regulated. Ophiopogon 2 don; Korean angelica 1.5 don; ginseng, prepared pinellia, white peony, cnidium, and moutan bark, 1 don each; pearled ass-hide glue and roasted licorice, 7.5 fun each; evodia and cinnamon bark, 5 fun each. Cut the above, make one packet, add 3 slices of ginger, decoct in water and take. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Po)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Ophiopogon at chief's rank in a formula for cold below is the point of it — evodia and cinnamon warm the vessels while the two moisteners hold the fluids that a long-irregular cycle spends. Angelica, peony, and cnidium build the Blood; moutan clears what has stagnated and heated.
