Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治腎經熱, 右耳聽事不眞, 每心中怫意則轉覺重, 虛鳴疼痛. 磁石(煆柒爲末) 二兩, 生乾地黃(酒洗) 一兩半, 枳殼ㆍ羌活ㆍ桑白皮ㆍ防風ㆍ黃芩ㆍ木通各一兩, 甘草五錢. 右麤末, 每四錢, 水煎, 日二服. 《本草》

Translation

Treats heat in the kidney channel with the right ear not hearing truly, so that whenever the heart is vexed it grows noticeably duller, with an empty ringing and pain. Loadstone (calcined, vinegar-quenched and powdered) 2 nyang; dried fresh rehmannia (wine-washed) 1 nyang 5 don; bitter orange, notopterygium, mulberry root bark, saposhnikovia, scutellaria and akebia 1 nyang each; licorice 5 don. Grind coarse and take 4 don decocted in water, twice a day. — Boncho 本草 (Donguibogam · I)
