治陰陽易最效. 取室女月經布近陰處, 燒存性, 末, 米飮調下. 《入門》

Translation

Treats the yin-yang exchange pattern, most effective. Take a maiden's menstrual cloth from next to the genitals, burn it so as to retain its nature, powder it and take stirred into rice water. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Han, lower)

Clinical commentary 臨床

**This is not a formula to prepare.** It belongs with 燒裩散 among the sympathetic remedies for yin-yang exchange, and reasons the same way: what passed between the partners is burnt and returned. The claim that it is the most effective of the group is the compilers reporting what their sources said, not an observation. Recorded because the Bogam records it, and because the disease category — illness transmitted between a convalescent and a partner — is a real one that deserves to be read in its own terms rather than quietly dropped. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
