Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治傷寒大熱, 發黃疸. 茵蔯ㆍ梔子ㆍ柴胡ㆍ黃柏ㆍ黃芩ㆍ升麻ㆍ大黃各一錢, 草龍膽五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《活人》

Translation

Treats cold damage with great heat breaking out as jaundice. Virgate wormwood, gardenia, bupleurum, phellodendron, scutellaria, cimicifuga and rhubarb 1 don each; gentian 5 pun. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Hwarinseo 活人 (Donguibogam · Hwangdal)

Jaundice supervening on a febrile illness, which the chapter treats as its own case.
