Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治産母惡露不下, 以致發熱煩躁. 當歸ㆍ熟地黃ㆍ白芍藥(酒炒)ㆍ肉桂ㆍ甘草(灸) 各五錢, 沈香ㆍ棕櫚灰ㆍ蒲黃ㆍ沒藥各二錢半, 乳香一錢半, 赤芍藥一錢, 血竭五分. 右爲末, 每二錢, 好溫酒調下. 《醫鑑》

Translation

Treats the mother's lochia not descending, bringing on heat effusion and vexed agitation. Korean angelica, prepared rehmannia, wine-fried white peony, cinnamon bark, and roasted licorice, 5 don each; aquilaria, charred palm fiber, cattail pollen, and myrrh, 2.5 don each; frankincense 1.5 don; red peony 1 don; dragon's blood resin 5 fun. Clinical commentary 臨床

The dark counterpart to Gunggwijohyeol-eum — where that formula treats the woman who lost too much, this treats the one who has not let enough go. Frankincense, myrrh, and dragon's blood do the breaking; charred palm fiber and cattail pollen hold the line against bleeding too far the other way.
