Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治血崩神效. 四物湯, 加阿膠珠ㆍ艾葉ㆍ黃芩, 共七錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 薑五片, 煎服. 《得效》

Translation

Treats blood flooding, with marvellous effect. Four Substances Decoction with ass-hide glue beads, mugwort leaf and scutellaria added, seven medicinals in all. Cut up, make one packet, add 5 slices of ginger, decoct and take. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Po)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Gyoae-tang and Samul-tang in one — the classical pairing for uterine bleeding, with scutellaria added for the heat.
