Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治心火上炎, 腎水不濟, 煩渴引飮, 氣血日消. 天花粉 二錢, 人參ㆍ遠志ㆍ當歸ㆍ熟地黃ㆍ白茯苓ㆍ黃芪(蜜炒)ㆍ五味子ㆍ甘草 各一錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 入棗二, 水煎服. 《得效》
Translation
Treats heart fire flaming upward with kidney water failing to answer: vexing thirst drawing in drink, and qi and blood wasting day by day. Trichosanthes root 2 don; ginseng, polygala, Korean angelica, prepared rehmannia, white poria, honey-fried astragalus, schisandra, and licorice, 1 don each.
