Treats every kind of abdominal pain — one dose and it stops at once. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Gogeum Uigam 醫鑑 (Donguibogam · Bok)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Yueju-hwan's five depressions widened into a decoction — atractylodes for damp, cyperus for qi, chuanxiong for blood, gardenia for fire, leaven for food — with a little dried ginger so the cooling does not chill a painful belly. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
