Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
血崩, 乃經血錯亂, 淖溢妄行. 遽止則便有積瘀, 凝成窠臼, 不止則又恐昏暈. 必先服五靈脂末 <span class='sochu'>名獨行散</span> 一錢, 溫酒調下, 其性能行血止血.
Translation
Blood flooding is the menstrual Blood in disorder, brimming over and moving at random. Stop it abruptly and there is at once pooled stasis, congealing into a lodged hollow; do not stop it and one fears fainting.
