Clinical commentary 臨床

The formula for the gap years, where the earth circuit is in excess. It is built as the chronogram requires — warm and aromatic against damp cold, with aconite and cornus to hold the kidney — and it would be a reasonable prescription for the picture described whatever the year. **Aconite accessory root is acutely cardiotoxic and this must not be prepared.** Even the blast-fried root used here is dangerous outside strictly controlled preparation. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl.
