Translation

White atractylodes, magnolia bark, pinellia, cinnamon heart, agastache and green tangerine peel, 1 jeon each; dried ginger (blast-fried) and licorice (roasted), 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, add three slices of ginger and two jujubes, decoct in water and take. — Samin 三因 (Donguibogam · Cheonjiungi)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The formula for the gi years, where the earth circuit is insufficient. Close kin to the im-year formula at ryeongchul-tang-ungi — the same spleen-warming base — with cinnamon heart and agastache in place of poria and tsaoko, which shifts it toward the sudden turmoil and cramping the chronogram names. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
