Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治同上. 茯神ㆍ生乾地黃ㆍ白芍藥ㆍ川芎ㆍ當歸ㆍ桔梗ㆍ白茯苓ㆍ遠志(薑製). 右爲末, 每二錢, 水二盞, 燈心一錢, 大棗二枚, 同煎至七分服之. 有一婦年七十四歲, 因戎亂爲驚疾, 服二方得效. 《本事》

Translation

Treats the same as above. Poria with pine root, dried fresh rehmannia, white peony, chuanxiong, angelica, platycodon, white poria and polygala (ginger-processed). Powder them and take 2 don a dose in two jan of water with 1 don of juncus and 2 jujubes, boiled down to seven parts. Clinical commentary 臨床

Samul-tang with the spirit medicinals added and no minerals at all — the gentle half of the pair, where Wonji-hwan is the heavy one.
