Clinical commentary 臨床

氣不升降 — the qi neither rising nor descending — with the head dizzy and the legs weak. The formula is for a patient whose breath is short and whose limbs are heavy at once, and it downbears at the lung with mulberry bark while it strengthens the lower body with acanthopanax and drynaria. Twelve medicinals is large for this chapter, and the Gukbang's name says the formula was valued enough to be kept secret. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
