Clinical commentary 臨床

The indication names two roads to the same place — private worry, and *diligent office taxing the mind*. That second clause is unusual: a formula written with the conscientious official in view, the person whose work is mental and whose diligence is the problem. A whisper of cinnamon at the bottom keeps the whole from being merely cold and heavy, which is the difference between a formula that settles and one that flattens. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
