Clinical commentary 臨床

Dodam-tang with a full qi-moving layer set on top: cyperus, lindera, costus and aloeswood, four medicinals that move qi at four different depths. The treatment principle stated at the head of this section is the reason — in treating phlegm, normalizing the qi comes first and guiding it out comes second. Where the qi is the mover, this formula; where fire is the mover, Clear Heat and Guide Out Phlegm Decoction; where damp is the mover, plain Dodam-tang. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
