Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治痰熱胸痞滿. 柴胡二錢, 黃芩ㆍ半夏ㆍ赤茯苓ㆍ陳皮各一錢, 人參七分, 甘草五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 如上法煎服. 《入門》

Translation

Treats phlegm heat with glomus fullness of the chest. Bupleurum 2 don; scutellaria, pinellia, red poria and tangerine peel 1 don each; ginseng 7 pun; licorice 5 pun. Cut up, make one packet, and decoct and take as above. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Hyung)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Sosiho-tang combined with Ijin-tang. With Sigyeong-tang above it makes a pair: one for a chest bound by qi and one for a chest clogged by phlegm. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
