Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治腎虛消渴, 小便無度. 麥門冬 二兩, 鹿茸ㆍ熟地黃ㆍ黃芪ㆍ五味子ㆍ雞肶胵(麩炒)ㆍ肉蓯蓉(酒浸)ㆍ山茱萸ㆍ破故紙(炒)ㆍ牛膝(酒浸)ㆍ人參 各七錢半, 白茯苓ㆍ地骨皮ㆍ玄參 各五錢. 右爲末, 蜜丸梧子大. 空心, 米飮下五七十丸. 《丹心》
Translation
Treats kidney-vacuity wasting-thirst with urination beyond measure. Ophiopogon 2 nyang; deer antler, prepared rehmannia, astragalus, schisandra, chicken gizzard lining (bran-fried), cistanche (wine-soaked), cornus, psoralea (dry-fried), achyranthes (wine-soaked), and ginseng, 7.5 don each; white poria, lycium root bark, and scrophularia, 5 don each.
