Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治熱入血室. 柴胡ㆍ生地黃各一錢半, 赤芍藥ㆍ當歸ㆍ黃芩各一錢, 半夏ㆍ人參ㆍ川芎ㆍ甘草各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑三片ㆍ棗二枚, 水煎服. 《海藏》

Translation

Treats heat entering the chamber of Blood. Bupleurum and raw rehmannia, 1 don 5 fun each; red peony, Korean angelica, and scutellaria, 1 don each; pinellia, ginseng, cnidium, and licorice, 5 fun each. Clinical commentary 臨床

The gentler of the two formulas the chapter offers for heat in the Blood chamber. Compared with Sihopaeo-tang, this one keeps ginseng and cnidium and drops the flying-squirrel droppings — coursing and cooling without the breaking.
