Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治同上. 牡蠣粉五錢, 寒水石煆·滑石各二錢. 右爲末, 先以藥水洗後糝之. 《資生》

Translation

It treats the same as the above. Oyster shell powder five mace, calcined glauberite and talcum two mace each. Powder them, first wash with the medicinal decoction and then dust it on.

Clinical commentary 臨床

Three mineral powders, all of them drying and cooling, dusted on after the wash of 1.15 — a desiccating dressing for a weeping sore. 治同上 ties it to the pill above, so the pair is taken inwardly and applied outwardly at once. Note the order: wash first, then dust; powder onto an unwashed sore seals debris under the crust. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
