Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治蓄血在下而無身熱ㆍ便黑ㆍ喜忘ㆍ如狂等證. 但小腹滿而尿利者, 宜用此緩以下之. 水蛭ㆍ䖟蟲各七箇, 桃仁六箇, 大黃三錢. 右爲末, 蜜和, 分作二丸, 水一盞, 煎一丸至七分, 頓服. 未效再服. 《丹心》

Translation

Treats blood accumulated below with no generalized fever, black stool, forgetfulness and madness, and the rest. Where the lower abdomen alone is full and the urine passes freely, this should be used to bring it down gently. Leech and gadfly, seven each; peach kernel, six; rhubarb, 3 don. Powder, bind with honey and divide into two pills; decoct one pill in a cup of water down to seven parts and take at one draught. If it has no effect, take again. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Han, lower)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The same four drugs as the decoction at lower count and in pill form, and the differential is laid out plainly in the text: no fever, the fullness confined to the lower abdomen, and the urine passing freely. Free urine rules out water as the cause of the fullness and leaves blood. Zhongjing's reason for the pill is pace — the honey-bound pill decocted whole lets the drug act over hours on a clot that has been there a while, where the decoction is for blood still moving.
