Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治脾虛痰盛, 不入食, 妙甚. 神麴(炒)ㆍ半夏麴各等分. 右爲末, 以薑汁糊和丸服. 《丹心》

Translation

Treats spleen vacuity with phlegm exuberant so that food does not go in; most marvellous. Medicated leaven (stir-fried) and fermented pinellia in equal parts. Powder them, make pills with ginger-juice paste, and take. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Naesang)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Two leavens and nothing else — the shortest formula in the chapter. Both are fermented preparations, which is what the name records: medicated leaven dissolves food, fermented pinellia dries phlegm, and ginger juice binds them. 不入食, food does not go in, is stronger than poor appetite.
