Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治脾久泄. 蒼朮ㆍ肉豆蔲(煨) 各一兩. 右爲末, 粥丸梧子大, 空心, 米飮下五七十丸. ○若加破故紙(炒) 一兩, 名曰固下丸, 治腎久泄. 《綱目》

Translation

Treats an enduring spleen diarrhoea. Atractylodes and nutmeg roasted in dough, 1 nyang each. Powder, make pills with gruel the size of a paulownia seed, and take fifty to seventy on an empty stomach in rice water. If 1 nyang of stir-fried psoralea is added it is called Goha-hwan and treats an enduring kidney diarrhoea. — Uihak Gangmok 綱目 (Donguibogam · Daebyeon)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Two drugs for the spleen, three for the kidney, and the difference between the two diagnoses is one ingredient.
