Translation

Treats sores arising on the tongue, or a white coating dry and rough as snow with the speech unclear. The natural juice of mint and white honey in equal parts, mixed evenly and applied — good. First wipe and wash the tongue with a thick slice of fresh ginger dipped in honey water, then apply the medicine. — Samin 三因 (Donguibogam · Guseol)

Clinical commentary 臨床

白胎乾澁如雪, 語話不眞 — a coating dry and rough as snow, and the speech not true. A thick white coating that makes the tongue clumsy, and the treatment begins by wiping it off with a ginger slice, which 3.22's rubbing method does at more length. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
